It's Halloween today.
今天是萬聖節前夜！
Time for Pumpkins!
做南瓜燈的時候到啦！
Time for treats!
上門要糖的時候到啦！
Time for costumes!
變裝的時候到啦！
Time for sweets.
吃糖的時候到啦！
Time to sing and time to shout!
唱歌喊叫的時間到啦！
Time for monsters to come out!
怪物出動的時候到啦！
天哪，萬聖夜的大街上到處都是假扮的怪物。
Monsters big and monsters small.
Monsters walk and monsters crawl.
大怪物和小怪物、走路的怪物和爬行的怪物。
Monsters marching two by two.
兩個兩個前進的怪物。

開心的怪物，多毛的怪物。
Furry monsters,fluffy monsters,
蓋著毛皮的怪物，毛茸茸的怪物，
purple monsters,puffy monsters!
紫色的怪物，充氣的怪物。
Monsters hungry.Monsters eat.
小怪物們餓了,要吃東西了。
Monsters find a tasty treat!
他們找到了一頓美味的大餐！
Monsters munching,monsters crunching,monsters chomping,monsters stomping!
小怪物們大口大口地吃，嘎吱嘎吱地嚼，咯吱咯吱地咬，咚咚咚咚跺腳！
Monsters go from door to door.
小怪物們挨家挨戶地敲門討糖。
The street's a giant candy store!
街道變成了一家巨大的糖果店。
They fill their bags with more and more.
他們不停地往袋子裏塞更多的糖果，這時一隻小怪物困了，打起了呼嚕。
Then one monster starts to snore.
於是，打呼嚕的小怪物被爸爸抱回了家。
Soon another starts to droop.
很快，另一隻小怪物腦袋耷拉了下來。
She drifts to sleep on her front stoop.
她在前門的台階上迷迷糊糊地睡著了。
It's getting very late.
夜深了。
Monsters try to keep awake.
可小怪物們還在努力地保持清醒。
Now the moon is high and bright.
明月高懸，清輝滿地。
Monsters start to say good night.
怪物們開始互道晚安。
Monsters wave goodbye to friends.
怪物們互相揮手告別。
Halloween is at its end.
萬聖節到此圓滿結束。
Sleepy monsters,tucked in tight.
小怪物們都很困了，緊緊地裹在被窩裏睡著了。
